This non-fiction masterpiece by Gerald Summers,tells the amazing,animal-packed,adventures of his youth at boarding school,where nature,and animals are more important than his studies. " I found that my interest in nature and living things was regarded with suspicion and that I was looked upon as a dangerous rebel. At this time the only interest in birds by most people was shooting them or collecting their eggs,and the idea of simply watching them ,or keeping them as pets was unthinkable''. When he gets older the story lookes upon his life at war,where having and making friends may decide her fate. Getting captured friends,and a fierce but friendly falcon,Cressida are his only hope of fulfilling his sworn duty, escape!I strongly recommend this book and any others by genius, and author, Gerald Summers from my strong reading ability to read, and from experience reading the book!
