Faces too- even if not severly dry,
By Michelle "Tinkershellie" (Louisville, KY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: de-luxe Shea Butter, 100% pure, Lavender, 3.5 Ounces (Health and Beauty)
I have several of the wonderful products made my De-Luxe and they are all great. The first one I got hooked on was the 25% Shea Butter body balm. It was a great moisturizer to help my skin feel moist and health as well as have a nice even appearance despite my terribly bad habit of tanning. (Not as bad as it sounds I actually started using tanning beds primarily for pain relief due to fybromyalgia and it works great). Next I tried some of the other products they make such as the wonderful body scrubs and the rosemary mint hair care products all of which are wonderful. My current favorite though is the 100% Pure Shea Butter with pure lavendar oils.I love it on my hands and face especially. But you only need a small amount, it is very potent.I use a small marble size piece and warm in my hands before using for my face and throat at night before bed- even around the eyes.It is a slight bit heavy at first but sinks in quite quickly and in the morning I have soft, supple, glowing skin. I am 32 and have normal/slightly sensitive skin w/ some oily areas during the spring and summer, dryish cheeks in the cooler months. I have had no adverse reactions to any of deluxe's products, even using such a strong moisturizer on my face w/ not one breakout. I highly recomend this natural moisturizer to everyone!

One of the best moisturizers I've used,
This review is from: de-luxe Shea Butter, 100% pure, Lavender, 3.5 Ounces (Health and Beauty)
I've tried a lot of moisturizers, and this is easily one of the best at handling very dry skin. Compared to all the other pure shea butter products I've tried, this is my favorite.
It has a nice mild scent. In terms of effectiveness at handling dry skin, I prefer it to all the popular lotions and creams, including Eucerin, Cetaphil, Lubriderm, etc. It's far less greasy and gets absorbed faster than heavy moisturizers like Eucerin cream or Aquaphor. It's not a light moisturizer. If you something light, stick with a lotion (I recommend the latest Aveeno brands lotions with Shea or Oatmeal). |
