5.0 out of 5 stars Stellar sound, December 16, 2007

I purchased this product after reading a review in our local newspaper. The writer indicated that the Mstation was the best Ipod player on the market and was a great value for the price. He was absolutely correct. The Mstation delivers crisp sound at all volume levels. We have used it indoors and also to provide the sound for outdoor parties and have just loved it! I think it is one the the best new tech products of 2007.

4.0 out of 5 stars M-station stereo tower Awesome for the $, January 18, 2008
This review is from: mStation 2.1 Stereo Tower for iPod (Electronics)
I received the M-Station tower for Christmas from my husband who by the way researched to death different sound systems that would play mp3's from my Iphone. I love it! The only fault is Apple, the remote does not operate any funtions on the phone like skipping songs. The remote for as basic as you can get does an awesome job of volume control, off/on etc.

The sound quality is excellent. Music sounds wonderful, no tinness, no static etc. When compared to the Bose, the sound quality is just about as superb and the price is much better.

The speakers offer a far range of sound throughout our ranch home. My decor is not contempary but this tower is far from an eyesore and fits nicely in a small space. The tower also acts as my phone charger now.

CON: The websit for M-Station offers no help about the unit. Infact I could not find the unit on the website.

I highly recommend this speaker system! Differnt craddles come for diffent size mps players etc. I really feel you wont be disapointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars good ipod jukebox, January 12, 2008
This review is from: mStation 2.1 Stereo Tower for iPod (Electronics)
This product is bulkier than the external speakers sold at Best Buy, etc., but it will fit in the corner of a bedroom or living room nicely. I actually like the stand-alone setup better, especially since I thought the design was attractive.

While the 60 watts (split equally between the subwoofer and the tweeter/midrange assembly) will not rattle the pictures off the wall, this device definitely has enough punch to enjoy your music at moderate volume. The down-firing 5-and-a-quarter inch sub probably extends the unit's range to 60 or 70 hertz, possibly due to its location at the end of the tubular chamber. There's a useful bass and treble control on the remote, as well as volume. You do have to use the ipod itself to change playlists, but I don't find this bothersome myself, as I usually have mine in shuffle mode..

Overall, the sonic quality and adequate power made this purchase worth the price, even more so when compared to the "shelf units" costing as much or more (Bose, Altec Lansing, etc.)
