Pictures from the National Gallery of Art in Washington,
This review is from: Great masters of French impressionism (Hardcover)
The format of this book is a one-page description of the painting (brief discussion of the painter, of the background of the work itself, and/or of the techniques used in the painting) and a full page color image of the painting. It is a very easy read that exposes you to the paintings and gives you interesting facts/trivia about them and their artists. It would be a nice coffee table book.
