This review is from: The meaning of madness;: Symptomatology, sociology, biology, and therapy of the schizophrenias (Hardcover)
This is a work that was basic to much that followed. Indeed,
some of the ideas seem fresh sixty years later. While this is hardly a book just anyone would find worthwhile, it was written by one of the best workers of his day at a time medications were first finding common use. As a choice for a book reflective of the late fifties, it probably can not be bettered. |
