5.0 out of 5 stars A must for all households
I am a Pediatric ICU nurse and I couldn't think of a better product to protect children. The medibag has all one would need, whether it be to fix a cut or respond to emergency situations. The flip chart is everything a certified CPR instructor would do. The houseproofing CD gives wonderful tips to protect your child from harm. This is a very well designed and thought-out...

We are expecting our first baby any day now, so I ordered this after seeing it offered (and receiving good reviews) on all the online baby store sites. I wish I would have known that a good portion of the "pieces" in the 117 piece set included some cheap stickers, and the case itself! The rest are mostly filler like cleansing wipes and band aids. You only get ONE (yes, one) of each of the useful things such as burn cream, hydrocortisone cream, and sting relief. You are better off just compiling your own first aid kid by purchasing items from the drug store. The reviews and descriptions I read made this seem like it was a must have for parents with small children. In reality, I've seen these same items in any standard first aid kit (and those had more of the useful items). One other minor thing... the product picture makes this look as if you get two separate cases. It is actually just one case.

I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, but that's not an option. I read all the reviews before going with this one, and I would agree with all the good things that have been said about it - it looks like it will be very useful, and fun, and I really like the sturdy case. The only thing no one said anything about is that it is sort of hard to open, and when I did open it, it scratched my arm - sort of ironic :-) Plus it jostled everything so much in the process of opening that it shook up all the contents and made a mess. Maybe this is a case of the operator needing to be smarter than the inanimate object, so perhaps I will master opening this bag the more I use it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay basic first aid kit, but not impressed, January 2, 2008

For the price, this kit is awesome, but you get what you pay for...All of the packaging for the supplies looks the same. So in a hurry, you might grab antibacterial ointment instead of burn cream. The packets are small and hard to open. The supplies are relevant and my kid doesn't freak out when he sees it though.

I like the idea of the bag its cute but after you open it about 5 or more time it does not stay closed the top keeps popping open. The stuff inside is pretty good but i wish it would stay closed.

This product was packaged well with ample supplies. The advertised tweezer, however, was a plastic one that didn't work effectively. Otherwise, a fun first aid kit whose appearance the children really loved.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just OK, December 29, 2011

We opened the kit for the first time today when the cat got scared and ran across my husband's foot leaving a decent sized gash. I was actually kind of excited to get the kit out - especially since it was for him and not the baby (hoping to keep the baby injury free as long as possible). Thankfully everything we needed was there - an antiseptic wipe (which was almost dried out already), some ointment and a perfectly sized large bandage. But now that its open I see that it really just has a few basic things and I'm going to want to beef it up a little once our munchkin is actually mobile and more injury prone. So I'll wait until the drugstore or target has a sale on their store brand stuff and make the kit a little more complete

It does the trick I suppose, but be warned there are a lot of stickers included in the piece count. too many really. I loved (sarcasm) how the instructions on opening the box were INSIDE the box. Took me forever to figure it out (and its really quite simple). there are not enough sanitizing/antibacterial things included, I would have prefered more of those and no stickers. Along with q-tips. I won't be purchasing it again, but at least I have a nice case to refill with bandages, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly a First Aid Kit for the whole family., March 15, 2011

Just as it says, its for the whole family. From the adult cut or scratch to plenty of fun ways to take care of kid sized problems. My kids know what it is, what its for, and whats inside. Compared to other kits its similar in price and size. The fun looking case is difficult for kids to open, making it safe. Other kits I've had barely even stay closed. Although kid safe, its not hard for adults to open.
