This review is from: The megalithic odyssey: A search for the master builders of the Bodmin Moor astronomical complex of stone circles and giant cairns (Paperback)
This is a modest book with modest aims, but within that framework, the author delivers what he promises. He conducts a competent reivew of the ancient stoneworks of Cornwall, England, and manages to blend technical information and legend in an interesting fashion. I was curious as to how O'Brien would tie these artifacts to the people of Sumer (and their gods, the Anannage), and while I'm not fully convinced, the author's reasoning was interesting. All in all, an excellent book for anyone intrigued by our distant past and its many anomalies.
