4.0 out of 5 stars This dish soap even gets the approval of the man of the house!
I have been using this dish soap for only a few days; however, here are my preliminary findings.

Pros:

1: It keeps its suds on the sponge longer than any other dish soap I've ever used--meaning I use less soap for each sink of dishes.
2: The scent is very light, but pleasant. My fiance, who cannot handle any types of perfumes, says it is...

3.0 out of 5 stars Problems With Bottle Design
I love all Method products. But sometimes I do think they need to test their packaging designs a little further before marketing. This product is a perfect example. It looks cool sitting on my countertop, but the bottle design is awkward and hard to grasp, especially if my hands are wet. The top is difficult to twist open also because you can't tell whether it's open or...

I have been using this dish soap for only a few days; however, here are my preliminary findings.

Pros:

1: It keeps its suds on the sponge longer than any other dish soap I've ever used--meaning I use less soap for each sink of dishes.
2: The scent is very light, but pleasant. My fiance, who cannot handle any types of perfumes, says it is nice and much better than Joy lemon scent which we've been using for years.
3: It does not leave a lingering fragrance in the air.

Cons:

1: It is indeed an awkward bottle to handle with wet hands.
2: It is difficult to tell by glancing at it if the top is open.

Overall, I am very pleased with the soap so far. I am very happy to finally be able to use an environmentally friendly dish soap which is also quite functional as well.

I buy nothing else but this Method dish soap in lavender. Love the smell, it's super concentrated (we transfer to a nice glass bottle and water down) so it works well and lasts forever.

Plus no chemichals and Method does not test on animals, which is a big +!

Do not bother to try any other dish soap, you will waste your time and your money, this is the one, we've tried everything. Great price, good scent and best of all it truly cleans dishes, wow what a concept!

I don't know why some people are having difficulty with the bottle design; I think it is very easy to use.

Just like laundry detergent, some dish soaps are watered down and sold at a cheaper price. This dish soap has a high concentration of detergent, so the quality of soap is much better. In the end, it's better to go with a slightly more expensive brand of soap. That way, you're not using as much product or getting frustrated when there aren't enough suds. I wash a full load of dishes about once every two days--and it took me 3 whole months to use up 1 bottle of this stuff! And I was using it generously.

One more thing I'd like to comment on about this product--lavender has a great tendency to cover up the smell of dirty dishes, so that when you do the dishes, you don't smell the food but a fresh relaxing scent. The concentration and purity of the lavender in this product is just right. It isn't sickly sweet like some other lavender dish soaps.

All in all, I really love the cleaning quality and the scent of this dish soap. Buying this product will also save you money in the long run, and make doing dishes a little more enjoyable.

I love all Method products. But sometimes I do think they need to test their packaging designs a little further before marketing. This product is a perfect example. It looks cool sitting on my countertop, but the bottle design is awkward and hard to grasp, especially if my hands are wet. The top is difficult to twist open also because you can't tell whether it's open or shut. And the worse, the opening clogs up like crazy and has to be constantly cleaned out to be able to dispense the product.

I like it because it smells nice but the smell doesn't get into the baby bottles! Would definitely buy again!

2.0 out of 5 stars Good Soap, Poor Packaging., December 29, 2007

Ok, the soap works fairly well but I need to rant somewhere about the bottle design. Imagine picking this thing up with soapy wet hands. You can't hold on to it. You'll also need to rinse and dry the bottle and your hands completely to grip and thus open the top. This is the most rediculously designed soap product packaging I've ever encountered.
