4.0 out of 5 stars it's about time!!!
I don't know why it has taken so long to get a dishwashing liquid that doesn't taste or smell like chemical "flowers" or some artificial scent concoction! Not much to say, really - you can finally wash your dishes without tasting soap or fragrance the next time you use the dish. Thank you, method!

3.0 out of 5 stars Love the soap; hate the container.
I would give this unscented and uncolored soap five stars but the container has to be the worst design ever. It's hard enough to open the first time around when it's dry, but once a little dish soap gets on it, then there is no way to get a good grip on either the bottle or the top. I've had to use rubber grippers just to get the top to spin open. In addition, one...

I do agree that a small amount of naturally-derived color would be helpful. It's hard to see if there is spilled any soap on the counter or on the bottle, and this makes things a little sloppy.

For a company respected not only for its "green-ness," but also for great design and branding, Method really failed on the design of this bottle. Very difficult to handle because of its size and shape, but also drips soap all over the lid and the sides. That said, I still love the product and will continue to deal until they hopefully wise up and change the bottle!

I think it's fantastic there there is a soap that cleans well, doesn't have all the chemicals and leaves your fingers, etc. not smelling like chemicals. Why are you disappearing from Target? Come back! I love Method soaps!

I've had to use rubber grippers just to get the top to spin open. In addition, one bottle I received was defective and wouldn't spit out soap - I had to remove the entire top. So, it is great soap but I'm going to look for a refill pack instead of these useless bottles. And I vote to keep it clear - don't add color.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible design, July 9, 2010
This review is from: method Ultra Concentrated Dish Soap, Go Naked, 25-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 6) (Health and Beauty)
Yes, it is dish soap...slippery, wet, dish soap. The design of this bottle is almost offensively irresponsible. It is the OPPOSITE shape that a container holding slippery liquids used with water should be. Beer glasses are designed better. Shame!

Don't come after me with a noose in hand, but I do have a SMALL problem-- I don't see too well and my 80 year old mother doesn't either, and while we like the fact that we can use the spent dishwater on the garden plants without worrying about any chemical fallout there is one thing... Since there are no colorants in the product we can't tell sometimes how much we have put in the dish water. This leads to some over/under use at times. The product does work as well as Dawn or any other dish soap but I'm afraid I'm wasting money when I unwittingly use too much.

The soap is great. As others have said the bottle is terrible. We put the Method soap into an old Mrs. Meyers bottle to use it. It's worth it because of the total lack of perfume and the effectiveness of the soap, but it's still a hassle.

It is hard to find Go Naked Method detergent where I live, so it was fantastic to find it in a pack of six at a price I could afford.

4.0 out of 5 stars I highly recommend "method Ultra Concentrated" dish soap, July 22, 2010

Being disabled, I generally buy whatever's on sale at my neighborhood store because money is a real issue for me. But I was running out of dish soap, and figured I'd see what Amazon had to offer. As usual, I checked out only the least expensive items, and compared ingredients and Customer Reviews. People seemed to like "method," so I figured I'd try it out.

This product is called "Ultra Concentrated," and it really is. It takes only two or three drops -- yes, drops! -- to wash a dish. Some dish soaps I've used require one "pump" per dish. I'm amazed at how little "method" I've used in the time I've had it. It costs more per ounce than I'm used to paying, but will last many times longer than less concentrated dish soaps.

I'm not too crazy about the smell. It's probably the aloe but, to me, it smells like someone who's just come in from being out on a hot day. You know, that "humid" fresh sweat smell? I actually sniffed my underarms the first time I used it (no kidding). I'm getting used to the smell, though, and it is gentle on my hands (a real plus).

I don't like the bottle design, but not for the reasons given by most of the other reviewers. The bottle top is next to impossible to remove because there are two "stops" that prevent it from coming off. I use a pump dispenser for liquid soaps, so being able to remove the top is important to me. I'd also prefer a refill bottle, as opposed to six "usable" bottles, because I don't use them, and there would be fewer plastic bottles to have to recycle.

Some people have complained about the fact that "method" is colorless, but if you use a pump bottle it's easy to see how much soap you're dispensing. Personally, I prefer products that have no unnecessary ingredients.

All in all, I like this product, and will definitely buy it again.
