A real story with another point of view,
By Jose J Huitron Mendoza (Mexico, D.F. Mexico) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Un mexicano en Vietnam (Coleccion Literatura contemporanea) (Spanish Edition)
This is an oustanding story about a mexican that had to fight in a war that as many americans could not understand. His recount shows the view of an immigrant. If for an american go to Vietnam was terrible, for an immigrant was a little bit more shocking. Mr.Munguia shows a crude portrait of a grunt's life and even how that experience changed his life when he came back to the States. Perhaps it may seems for american people something not interesting the experience of a mexican in Vietnam, but I think, he and other Hispanic soldiers made a huge contribution for the US in that war.
