We purchased this bear because it is organic and well made and it fast became our toddler's favorite stuffed animal. The bear is very soft and pillowy (all cotton inside). Among the stuffed animals in her crib she grabs this one before the others and buries her face in it's tummy and chews on its ears and rolls around the crib never letting go. And although the care instructions recommend surface cleaning, I have put it in the washing machine a handful of times and it still looks as good as new (wash cold on gentle cycle & short fluff in dryer & then finish with air dry). We bought a second one to fill in while the other is being washed. Also, it's packaged very cute and would make a great baby gift.

This bear has been the constant companion of my two-year-old granddaughter since birth. (3 months.) It was my baby gift to her, and it's been her sleepy bear, travel bear, comfort bear "through sickness and in health..." When it started getting "germy" Mommy bought an identical spare bear and washed it until it was faded to the same shade as the original. Now she can switch the bears to throw one in the washer as needed. They wash great. They seem indestructible. The bright pink/peach color has faded to almost cream, but we don't mind. We never expected a lot from organic dyes. I'm giving it a five start rating anyway. We are so happy with this bear. My granddaughter has teethed on the the ears, sucked on the fabric, slept with her face on the "fur" every night, and we just don't have to worry about chemical processes, pesticides, or dyes that her little body might be absorbing. It's all organic. "Bear-Bear" is always featured first in her imaginery games and songs. Bravo to miYim. With a second granddaughter newly born, I'm looking for another miYim organic stuffed animal.

I love this bear. It's organic, soft, and I adore it's gender-neutral color. It is rather large, as far as a stuffed bear goes, but I'm hoping my daughter will enjoy it for years to come.

Good Points:
-well made, quality materials with good sewing
-pretty soft to squeeze, though not as soft as a Gund
-really nice velvety feel to it
-love that it's organic cotton so my kids won't be hugging the equivalent of an oil barrel all night

Weak Points:
-it's just a bit big. Maybe 2in smaller or so would have been perfect for hugging by little arms and for transport in diaper bags.
-the color is bland and not popular with toddler girls. I sewed a red ribbon down the front of one and a pink ribbon down the front of the other one so the girls could tell them apart, and that made the color acceptable for them... though still not ideal. Both girls really prefer the pink miYim bunny I got for them at the same time, but like the bear as a back-up when bunny cannot be found anywhere right before bedtime.
