Lots of different ideas,
By Grandjete (San Diego, CA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 101 Model Railroad Layouts (Paperback)
This book has hundreds of ideas for how to plan a model railroad. It is very usefully set up so that the smallest model railroads are at the beginning of the book, and they progress to larger and larger lines.
What is particularly useful is that you can take a layout and change it, maybe to something more to your liking, but using the layout ideas in the book. I saw this book many years ago when I was a youngster, and find it just as useful now as then. There are more recent books, but none better than I know of for just giving you lots of ideas.

This review is from: 101 Model Railroad Layouts (Paperback)
This book is only for people who wish to waste money on totally useless information.Of the "101 track plans" only 1 or 2 could be modified to become a functional railroad layout!!!Most of these "layouts" are just proof that some people can draw random circles, squares, wavy lines, and connect everything together and call it a "TRACK PLAN"!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
