When I bought my iPhone 3G, I purchased a inCase silicone protective cover. Although the inCase cover was ok, the silicone lost its form-fit factor. I searched and saw the Moshi case at MacWorld and ended ordering one. All I can say is I think it is the best designed and functional iPhone 3G case on the market. The rubberized is tacky enough to slide in/out of your pocket without getting caught up against fabric etc. Go for it!

The look and feel of this product is great. The surface feels lightly rubberized, keeping from sliding out of my hands like a naked iPhone would, but not so sticky as to make it difficult to get out of my pocket (like silicon cases). The design is very complementary to the design of the iPhone, unlike nearly every other case out there. No sharp edges from the plastic mold. It fits tightly, without any play, and never felt like it might come off accidentally. It doesn't cover every possible surface of the phone, so it might not be for the person who tends to be hard on their gadgets, but it provides plenty of protection for me. It definitely felt like a five star product.

Everything was very good for about a month, at which point I noticed some cracks appearing in the corner of the case by the mute switch. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed.

But yet I am still giving this product four stars. It would have been one star after the cracks appeared, but Moshi's customer service rep was truly stellar. She asked for some pictures of the cracks, and after I provided them, she agreed to send me a replacement case. She is even allowing me to send my cracked case back to them after I receive the new one, so I don't even have to go without a case while I wait for the new one to arrive.

I just hope the new one does not develop cracks like the last one, as I really like this case. I'll post an update to this review if it does.

Update:
Second one cracked after a month. Moshi sent me TWO replacements, and did not request the cracked one back. Hopefully one of these will last. I've reduced the rating down to two stars because of the durability issues, but the customer service remained excellent.

Excellent feeling, easy to clean, anti-dust, lower price compared with tons of protectors you see in Apple store. What else you can ask for? I really recommend this product with no hesitation.

It only protects the back and left/right sides. I did not find this case to enough protection.

The case, as reviewed by others, is minimalist and contours to the iPhone (3GS in my case) shape very well. But it only protects the back and left and right sides. The case stops about a millimeter short of the face of the iPhone, with no protection for the top (power button) or bottom (speakers) of the iPhone are located. So while I continue to use the product, I will keep my eye open for another case that protects these areas of the iPhone too.

This case is not only a great case but it also has fairly good protection. I say "fairly" because the purpose of this case is to keep the iPhone still slim but gives somewhat protection. If you are not happy about its protection and give a bad review then you did not know why you bought this case in the first place. If you want great protection with bulk, then you need to buy something else. Not to mention my iPhone survived a few pretty good drops here and there with this case on.

Moshi must be one of the best companies out there. If you have a problem, they will solve it immediately. I have dealt with many companies as a consumer over the years and Moshi is definitely in my top 5. Great customer service! There are companies that needs to learn some lessons from Moshi, such as Power Support!

I purchased this case from eBay to replace an Incipio case I accidentally broke. This moshi case is made of similar, lightly textured plastic. It is a minimalist case, very form fitting. I find it complements the iPhone very well without drawing attention to itself. I don't mind the small peek-a-boo hole on the back so you can see the Apple logo. I would prefer it wasn't there, but it's not intrusive nor does it get in the way of how I hold the phone.

Moshi case fits like a glove! If you want a very thin profile case that just covers the back from scratches then this is the case for you! Does not offer very much protection from drops but will add a non slippery grip to the iPhone. You still need a screen protector for the front to prevent scratches but this case is still stylish & won't add any bulk.

If you're looking for a minimalist case, then maybe this one is for you. I however, did not find this case to offer nearly enough protection. The ultra slim plastic case will probably protect the back of the phone from
scratches, but little else. I was not a fan.
