I bought this product under the impression that it would look like a real gold bar, don't be fooled by the only image they uploaded, because IT DOES NOT! the bottom is literaly made out of yellow plastic and the "gold" plating on the sides and top looks cheap and fake. Don't make the same mistake I did and stay away from this product.

This item looked great at first but it was wrapped in a lot of tape (which was meant to protect it during delivery) however, it was very difficult to remove and in fact it ripped of a lot of the gold paint and absolutely destroyed the look of the gold bar. It was meant to be a gift and I was very disappointed with the quality and how easily the gold came off.

This idea is seriously cute and fun for my little boy (who loves "gold fings") but the execution of its construction is really cheap and its packaged even worse! We sent the first one back because the whole side was broken (shell is plastic) The second one that came was also cracked but my son had waited long enough and wanted to keep it anyway. For the price ($30) it was a big disappointment...maybe a $5-10 price tag would have been more appropriate.

Bummer.
