I wrote a review of this book months ago. I felt that it was a good review because its message was very positive and indicated that this book should be reprinted. Just because a book is remote in terms of subject matter and its buying public is not hightech or highvolume, does not mean that the book is meaningless. This is one of the most valuable volumes I have ever read and I would like for the on-line world to know how excellent it really is: THE MUSIC OF MAN by Yehudi Mehuhin

This is the best. Because, music is sense and humor. This book has two of them. Menuhin was the best violonist of 20th Century. And when I saw the program's name on TV in 1979 I said "Hey this is wonderful" And I watched it every week as being happy. Now, 20 years later I want to buy and read those in this book...

Please release the DVDs!,
This review is from: The Music of Man (A Methuen paperback) (Paperback)
I remember watching the TV series "Music of Man" when I was in high school. I now teach high school, and I would love to show it to my students! I hope the Powers That Be will decide to re-release it on DVD, as it makes a fun & informative introduction to classical music.
