A Hario Mini Mill Slim hand grinder was used to grind the coffee beans.
The tamper shown in the video is the Rattleware 53-Milimeter Aluminum Tamper.

The "automatic shut-off" Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel electric kettle was used for boiling the water.
For heating and frothing milk for cappuccinos, the Capresso frothPRO is highly rated.
Now, to achieve the best results, always first pre-heat the water bowl by filling it completely to the top with boiling water and then loosely placing the cap on top for about 30 seconds. Do this twice for maximum effect. Then, discard the second filling of pre-heated water and re-pour new boiling water into the bowl for your espresso shot -this time closing the cap tightly.
When everything is done correctly, the mypressi TWIST will produce unbelievably fine espresso. This is due to water temperature stability during the shot extraction and the optimal 9-Bar pressure provided by the N20 gas cartridge.
Try to use coffee beans that were roasted no more than 2 to 3 weeks ago. This means that supermarket beans are out of the equation.
Instead, search the internet for coffee roasters in your area, -although most roasters will ship directly to your door.

The coffee beans used for this video came from a company called Espresso Vivace. The beans are their "Dolce" espresso blend.
Another very popular coffee roaster is Intelligentsia. Their "Black Cat" espresso beans are world-renowned.
Both of these companies roast to order and ship the same day the beans are roasted so that when they arrive in the mail, they are as fresh as possible.

You have to understand espresso to take full advantage of this machine. Find a local roaster with fresh roasted coffee. Find a blend you like. Get a good grinder (a must) and grind your shot right before you use it. You can use a hand grinder if you are on a budget. They are under $100. Otherwise, you need to pony up $200 or more for a good grinder. If you buy the Twist, you probably have the best machine under $600. AND you can travel with it. You will have to find the NO2 cartridges at your destination but that can be easier than you might think. Suprisingly the whipped cream chargers are always found at "head shops".
Preheat the Twist as recommended and prepare for an exceptional coffee experience.
If you love espresso, you will love it! Coolness factor is an added plus. Take it to your next dinner party and watch everyone gather around.

After reading some of the reviews here I was a bit skeptical, but needed a new espresso machine. I bit the bullet and tried the mypressi, after reading reviews from other sites. Not only is it easy to clean and use, but it makes amazing shots! I use local beans from a roaster and the crema that comes out is on par/if not better than other machines I have tried (including my old Gaggia). Best of all I finally have home espresso back!
