Jeff Schuman says:
Does anyone know why there is no commentary from C and D on "The End?" They stated in the commentary for "LA X" they were doling one for "The End" but then nothing. Anyone know why the ended up not doing one?

I AM A.M. says:
Im guessing they can not explain the ending themselves so they are ducking the commentary. Just a theory.

They probably didn't have time to record it, since the DVDs came out 3 months after the finale, compared to the usual 6+.

Now why would they wanna explain the ending? What fun is that for the audience? If you like your stuff explained for you down to the very last detail, LOST was NEVER a show for you in the first place.

The producers talked about wanting the ending to "stand for itself," at least for some, time prior to the airing of the finale.
