I'm trying this slow cooker for the 1st time using the 6 qt. crock. First of all, the lid is already vented with a hole (probably the same lid used for the cooker with the temp probe). And the lid doesn't sit flush on top of the 6 qt. crock. There's gaps on the sides over the crock handles. Very little condensation has built up 2 hrs. into cooking. I'll let you know if the meal is edible. If not, the slow cooker gets sent back. And I warned my husband we might be ordering pizza tonight.
Please let me know if anyone else had similar problems.
Well, all turned out well with the pork roast & veggies I made. Just seemed odd how loose the lid was and the gaps between the lid and crock. The house smelled wonderful with all the escaped aromas LOL.
