This is my first time using non-OEM ink on the Canon MP530 and these cartridges, from Toner Pals, work fine. So far I have used the yellow and magenta cartridges. I don't print photos or anything sophisticated, and I can't see a difference in the printing. I only caution that the cartridge, and specifically the orange plastic that the user turns to open the cartridge, is of lighter plastic than the Canon OEMs. You need less force to open them. Keep a paper towel handy, as on my first try there were a couple of drops of ink to blot up when I opened the cartridge a little too quickly.

I can't tell the difference. Don't understand what all the fuss is about with removing the chip- just be careful, the same as with the overpriced brand.
