Canadian Politics: Riding by Riding examines the history, culture, economy, demographics, and politics of each of the 301 federal electoral districts (ridings) in Canada. Each of these ridings elects a Member of Parliament who serves in the House of Commons. The author has visited all but one of these ridings.
The book includes full election results for the 1988, 1993, 1997, and 2000 general elections and all by-elections from 1989 to October 2002.
The book includes an index, bibliography, glossary, and comparative table of Canadian and American terms.
