I am just a 401k trader. I found this DVD to be very helpful. It describes a simple method for picking buy and sell points for stocks.
With some judgement of my own I expect to do better than I did in the past year anyhow. It's recording of a conference session but it provides the information needed. The speaker is very good. :-\

Just make sure you don't pay too much for it. He spends a lot of time breaking down a very simplistic system and he repeatedly remarks about how easy trading is. A little misleading to say the least. There are a few good points you can glean from the DVD, just don't expect too much and don't pay more than $10-$15 for it.

As for the good points, he has an interesting take on using the 20 and 40 simple moving averages on weekly charts. Some of the info in this area is useful.

Some of the bad points are his interpretation of candlestick patterns...such as looking to sell or short a stock after 4-6 green/up bars. In fairness though, this may be a sign of the times. This dvd was made in the middle of a bull market so maybe putting some of his techniques in the right context (bull market) is helpful.
