4.0 out of 5 stars Eat Your Heart Out Geri Halliwell!, January 22, 2002
Why are we so obsessed today with packaging and with image? Why is so much that we listen to so electronically engineered that it's impact is transitory? Why are we now, apparently, so drawn to voices and personalities that are superficially pleasing but possess little in terms of talent and authenticity?

Listen to It's Raining Men in its original version on the Weather Girls' Success album and you will know exactly what I'm talking about. These women are, quite simply, powerhouses of talent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Success? Definitely!, April 17, 2000
By "gazgusmartin" (Adelaide, Australia) - See all my reviews
This album is pure 80's and among the best that era has to offer. It's in-your-face funk and Mesdames Martha and Izora sure do excel at wailing and belting out the big notes. "It's Raining Men" needs no introduction, nor do the other tracks. "Dear Santa" almost matches that gem for its power, humour and drivng gospel-disco dance beat. You want beat? You want rhythm? You want music that gets into your feet (and makes you smile)? You want the best 80's dance tracks? ... then you want "Success".

5.0 out of 5 stars The Toast Of The 80's, July 9, 1999
By Kevin Louis Pohlman (Ridgefield Park, NJ USA) - See all my reviews
I have heard this CD and have heard MS. Martha Wash in cocert and feel this is the best music of the 80's. I think everyone should bring back the 80's by listening to this groups music. I have met Ms. Martha Wash and i told her what i felt, Her music IS the best of the 80's and now.
