This CD is a keeper. Marc's playing is unbelievable. Unlike many other virtuoso guitarist, Marc uses his chops to paint beautiful musical landscapes--not just technically difficult noise. This is an example of heart, soul, and mind blended with incredible guitar skills. If you like Vai and Satch, you owe it to yourself to buy this CD and LISTEN.

He sounds like Satch with a touch of Luke thrown in. Each song is very good. Is this the whole gig? It's about an hour long live show that's been very professionally recorded. Most tunes are instrumentals. I like that! When Marc does sing, he's got a strong and pleasing voice. Being a guitar player myself, all I want is guitar. There's plenty to like here. I wish I could have studied with a player like Marc Seal when I was taking lessons. Wow.

Think a mix of ANDY TIMMONS and JOE BONAMASSA and you'd be close. MARC might be an average vocalist, but as most of this CD is instrumental, it doen't matter much. Whatever his shortcomings as a vocalist are more than made up by his stupendous talents as a guitarist. Wonderful tone and some georgous lyrical playing that is 2nd to none. He can rock and shred with the best of them, but his melodic approach is rarely bettered. You'd have to look to the HELLECASTERS / JOHNNY A or TIMMONS to find this mans equal. If you like the guitar, this man definetly needs to be in your collection.
