A welcome addition to the more melody-minded rock pantheon currently lorded over by bands like Built To Spill and GBV --CMJ
Product Description
After four brilliantly melodic full-length records, a handful of seven-inch releases, several tours crisscrossing them through the forty-eight mainland states, showcasing their talents on stages in and outside of Tokyo, receiving both written praise and a compilation appearance in CMJ, even having a record shop in Japan name itself after frontman, Eric Rottmayers solo project, Metronome, Tiara is proud to announce the upcoming November release of their latest recording, Chained to the Crown. Chained To The Crown is comprised of Tiaras strongest work to date, with the maturation of Eric Rottmayers lyrics and composition and the addition of lap steel and keys to the bands accompaniment. From the back porch feel of In The Night Air to the stomp and shake of Holes In The Brain Of A Man, Chained To The Crown is full of melodies that will stick with you. Recorded throughout the Winter and Spring of 2005 at Rottmayers Blue Green Studio and with Jon Chinn at the helm for continued sessions at Workbook Studio, the record combines the intimate setting and big studio sound. They have also found another member in Jess Faller to become the full-time keyboard Player for all their future shows and recordings.
