why give this CD a bad name because of your taste in music? if you like heavy music this CD will do the trick. heavy vocals heavy riffs heavy drumming. if you think soilwork is heavy this isn't the band for you. the guys are all just out of high school i think they did a great job with this EP. 5 stars from a true death fan \m/

i bought genesis on the day it was released due to all the hype about this band. it was brutal, it was catchy, it was heavy. all in all a decent release, but, i couldn't get into it. just yesterday i was at the record store and saw this little puppy peeking at me and i impulsively picked it up, paid for it and threw it into my car stereo... not knowing what to expect and it floored me!! much like genesis, it's short... though it is an e.p. and genesis a full length, this release is just around ten minutes shorter. i found myself getting into this release instantaneously!!! now you have some elitist metal head who thinks metal should only be one way or compares every single band on earth to their one favorite band that nobody has ever heard of or nobody likes discredit these guys because they're too "core" or not "core" enough. good music is good music. if you happen to stumble upon this disc my suggestion is that you pick it up and rock out!

There is just no reason that these guys should be this good. The songwriting, technical skill, and vocal delivery are just amazing. Stunning. And you'd be hard pressed to find anybody else like it out there right now. Absolutely brutal.
