Pros
-It looks nice.

Cons
-Very uncomfortable. I couldn't stand to wear it for more than a few minutes.
-Poor audio quality. Turning up the volume on the headset itself, in games, and on my cell phone didn't help. From what I could tell, people also had a hard time hearing me.
-Despite being sixty dollars it still feels cheap.
-You can get much better headsets for much less.

I would only recommend this to the fans of the games looking for a collectible item. Everyone else should avoid it like the plague.

I just read the reviews here and I have to say the complainers are not completely correct. I have owned this since it first came out. I needed a headset for my PS3 and this was the cheapest one available. I have used it as a back up for my cellphone as well. First let me list the bad.

Bad:
Small- made more for kids rather than adult ears. (also see below in the good)

Low Sound- it was made for talking with other people so how loud do you need it? If you are hard of hearing don't use this.

LED- Blinks all the time during both talk time and standby.

Good:
Lightweight- you barely notice it at all when wearing it.

Ergonomic band- once you break this product's ear band in you'll never notice you are wearing it. It has a piece of soft rubber for the band to go around the ear. You will get used to it if you use it enough. I am an Adult and it has gotten quite comfortable on me that I once forgot I had it on that I didn't notice it was still on until I laid my head on the pillow when I went to bed.

Won't fall off or slide off- Since the band goes all the way around the ear it stays on better.

Easy pairing- with the PS3 it is super ready as the PS3 will find it right away. I use a Tmobile Sidekick 3 for my cellphone and It was pretty easy to pair it with that. So if you have a Blu Tooth device that is that old or younger then you should have no problem. It will even be listed as the Metal Gear Solid device.

Stylish- It looks better than most other Blu Tooth headsets.

Collectible- If you are a fan of Solid snake it looks just like the one he uses in the game Metal Gear Solid 4.

Others complained about comfort but how long have they tried it out? I have used this for over 5 months now and have no real complaints.

For the guy that had the echo check your PS3 settings as the PS3 does allow you to have an echo in your headset. It can be turned off.

My first bluetooth headset. I asked for the Official Sony version, but the store was out and my sister got this instead. It isn't as terrible as most people make it out to be, but being that there are better headsets for cheaper, it just doesn't make much sense to buy it at all.

It is kinda uncomfortable having it on your ear after a couple minutes. Not unbearable, but irritating, which is magnified when you know that there are cheaper more comfortable ones avaliable.

I had some echo online with one gamer and sometimes 1-2 people had trouble hearing me but overall my experience was nothing totally disgusting.

In conclusion, if you get this by a mistake it is not so bad that you absoultely MUST return it but it just makes sense to get a cheaper better version unless you like have stock in the company or you are getting the present for someone you don't really wanna give a good gift to.
