oh DEER! Women's Waldorf Pump

I purchased the Waldorf in the Houndstooth pattern.
Named after one of New York's most famous hotels, the Waldorf is Oh Deer's newest innovation in pumps with wow factor! This pump features black and white (non-Granny~ish, non-glittery, shiney) sequins sewn in a houndstooth pattern, a hidden platform, a gold mirrored sole, and a black patent 4.25 inch heel. And let me not forget the almond toe the shoe has! I love it! The shoe isn't pointy and it's not round either, it's the perfect combo of both styles! A soft looking pump with edge!
Comfort?
I wore these with a pair of tights and my pinky toes were barking. I slid down thanks to the lack of traction in my tights, so if you're heavy...or not, know what you're in for. I'll have to wear some of those bandages exclusively for pinkies when I wear them with tights again. I haven't worn these out in my bare feet but I predict the same discomfort. I stood in them for awhile and had no pain on my heels or the balls of my feet, so that was amazing! To me the padding felt alittle better, maybe Oh Deer upgraded their comfort technology.

Right on as usual. I bought these pumps in 10M and they fit!

*Precaution*
Never rub these shoes together or against a surface that could possibly lift the sequins off.
After I wore these (with the tights) I saw a stray string and a sequin was about to fall off! Unlike the Jamocha or the Ribbon shoe, these sequins do over lap sometimes because they have to create the houndstooth pattern. And possibly because...well not really...the Jamocha and Ribbon both have woven cloth material for the base of their sequin parts. Each sequin on the Waldorf has been secured differently. The majority of sequins have either 2 loops of invisible string securing them to the fabric. Every time a new color of the houndstooth pattern meets, those sequins beginning the new color are looped 3-4 times. So, they're better secured. For this I give the shoes 4 stars. Maybe if there was a way to melt these sequins to each other they'd stay on better...

Still, this shoe is gonna be my fall fave! And if fate allows, I'll get this shoe in the Bandana pattern and/or the Smith "shootie" in both the Bandana and Houndstooth pattern! Wow Oh Deer--just wow! I now have five pairs of these Oh! Deer hidden platform pumps. They are the perfect style, perfect fit, perfect height for me. There's just enough point on the toe, and the styles are unique and exquisitely beautiful. And what a great deal to have found on Amazon.com!

I got these in the blue bandana flavor. These shoes are absolutely adorable. The platform is very discreetly built into the shoe. The shoe fits like a second skin. I feel really stable and secure walking about in them, not like I might fall over or twist an ankle, like in some other shoes. I love these shoes. The only thing I could possibly ask for in these is a little more arch support.

I wore these for two hours of constantly standing and walking around (shopping, and playing pool) today, and my feet felt fine afterward.

I could not have dreamed up a better shoe. It's amazingly comfortable, fits, looks amazing...what more could one ask for?

These shoes fit like a glove. I haven't worn them for an extended period of time yet, but they are really comfortable right now. The thick heel and true fit really helps with support.
And they are really pretty.

I had been looking at these for a while, but was unsure since I had never seen the brand. Did some research and found that the designer is boutique-ish out of New York. I purchased the Waldorf in orange and they are more fantastic in person. The price was a steal, the gold sole screams, the lacquer heel defines and the print is beautiful. The colors are vibrant and adds 'pop' to any outfit - whether dressed up or down. These shoes are very "SATC" if you're into wearing shoes no one has. I will likely not wear these very often because they are so unique and wouldn't want to scuff the front. I do admit the right is a little tight but a half size up would be too big, so I will break them in.

Overall: Incredibly eye-catching, attractive pump.

Look/Style: I ordered the Houndstooth pattern with the little sequins and they are just brilliant. I'm not a glittery-shoe person, but the balance of traditional houndstooth with teeny sequins is perfect. Lovely profile to the shoe, as well.

Fit/Comfort: I am an 8.5-9 in length with wide feet that push me up to a 9-9.5 for high heels and/or small toe box. I got these in a 9 (for $35 from another online seller) and they fit just fine. They are not super-comfortable to wear for long hours, but going out for dinner or similar evening out works just fine - with more padding in the ball of the foot, they'd be great.

I'd love to get another pair, but they don't have bandana print anymore and I look terrible with orange next to my skin so I can't get that print, either. Bummer.

I found the orange print at another online seller for $16, so I bought them regardless of my skin tone (I'll just wear them with pants). They're fabulous! The blue flowers will look great with jeans and, as mentioned above, the profile is just lovely.
