5.0 out of 5 stars The Night of the Flask
My new 6oz stainless steel flask (set of 5) arrived last week. The only true way to test flasks is... yes... you guessed it... fill these bad boys up and pound down some liquor like it owes you money.
Got my friends together (set of 4) and filled each flask with 100 proof rum. Yeah, play time is over, this test will not be for the faint of heart. Amateurs need not...

1.0 out of 5 stars Leak screw tops, you get what you pay for.
So far, two out of these five flasks have leaked on me, I haven't used the others yet. The metal feels fairly flimsy, you get better flasks in liquor gift sets around Christmas time.

Spend a little more money and get a better set.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Night of the Flask, August 24, 2009
This review is from: 6 oz. Stainless Steel Hip Flask (Pkg. of 5)
My new 6oz stainless steel flask (set of 5) arrived last week. The only true way to test flasks is... yes... you guessed it... fill these bad boys up and pound down some liquor like it owes you money.
Got my friends together (set of 4) and filled each flask with 100 proof rum. Yeah, play time is over, this test will not be for the faint of heart. Amateurs need not apply. Allow me to introduce the 5 players in this test. I will use descriptive nicknames to avoid damaging fragile friendships.

#1 - The cry baby - He drinks and feels sorry for himself. Almost to the point where you want to cry with him... almost.
#2 - The fighter - He drinks and wants to fight everyone. With no takers, he generally ends up punching a wall at the end of the night to prove his manhood.
#3 - The sleeper - Generally this individual needs to be carried to the car at the end of the night. Mumbles a lot.
#4 - The daredevil - The more liquor in him the more he thinks that jumping off the roof with a table cloth parachute is a really good idea. ANYTHING is possible with the proper Liquor / enthusiasm ratio.
#5 - Me - Normal - I console the cryer, Calm down the fighter, control the daredevil, and carry the sleeper to the car.

We assembled at my house. Thus ensuring there would be no drinking and driving. The test began very positive. 40 minutes in we had to refill the flasks. We looked and felt soooo cool using our flasks. Sophisticated. The sophistication ended at approx. 1 hr. and 15 minutes.

Cry baby started with the whole woe is me and look at my pathetic life rhetoric. The tears began to flow. The fighter punched him in the face in order to, in his own words, give him something to cry about. Daredevil decided that jumping off my back wall onto the trampoline would get some, quote, "big air". He bounced into the side of the house like a slab of beef. I laughed and was promptly beaned in the face from his half full flask. He throws harder than I thought.
I released a few obsenities at the top of my lungs and then swung into action. I did not want to be left out of the "Hey look at me" escapades. I kicked a dozing sleeper out of his chair and then pointed at the daredevil. Sleeper went after him immediately.
Crier and fighter wrestling on the ground. Sleeper and daredevil yelling at each other. Me, standing there proudly, with a very large flask induced bruise on the side of my face.... now swollen.

Apparently the neighbors were concerned and called the police. All fun ended when they arrived at 1 hr 20 minutes into flask test. Unfortunately, fighter answered the door. He got one drunk wild swing in before the beating began. I found myself cheering him on. It did not help him in his efforts to defeat multiple police officers. At least he got his own police car, the rest of us were doubled up. I rode with crier. A good thing. The other car went to the hospital first. The police officers had bet daredevil he couldn't fit his whole fist into his mouth. he knocked out two teeth forcing that sucker in.
All the flasks were retrieved with our personal effects the next day.... after arraingment.
They still looked new!!! Awesome flasks. Took a beating and still looked new.
We were all pleased with the results and are planning to test these wonderful flasks again, soon. Hopefully at someone's house that does not have a trampoline.

We purchased these flasks as a part of our groomsmen gift and they were just perfect! The quality is fine, I did notice that the cap doesn't screw on as easily as a flask of a higher quality, but it's really not a huge problem. The design is nice and simple and they look very cool engraved.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great way to enhance a wedding!, October 27, 2009

This review is from: 6 oz. Stainless Steel Hip Flask (Pkg. of 5)
My friend and his girlfriend finally decided to take the plunge into marriage last weekend, I was asked to stand up and accepted of course. I decided the day before the big event I wanted a flask to keep in my tux. I didn't want anything to fancy since I wasn't sure how much Id use it after the vows were read.

I searched some local stores here in town and found about 20-40 bucks for a single decent flask. I decided to check Amazon and was happy to find this 5 pack of stainless steel flasks for about 25 bucks. I decided to order them and opted for the overnight shipping.

They arrived the day of the wedding, so I tore them out of the packaging to make sure they would work. I was really happy with the build quality of this item, nice brushed stainless exterior and a "cap flap" I washed them all out and got ready for the wedding. I handed them out to the guys that enjoy cocktails, feeling the beer drinkers wouldn't benefit from a flask.

Everybody enjoyed them (maybe a bit to much) and I didn't hear one complaint about leaking or issues. My buddy did tell me the next day his cap holder had a small crack in it...but we couldn't determine if it was post or pre wedding, and it didn't effect the product at all so I don't think its a deal breaker. Even if used for a one time event this flasks are well worth the money and are the perfect size for the inside of a tux or suit. Give them a try you'll be happy you did...really really happy after using it a few times!

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Flasks, March 11, 2010

These are five incredibly solid, nice, stainless steel flasks. They do the trick, especially for the price. Fit nicely in a side pocket of your jeans, in your backpack, wherever really. The only thing that bugged me about them, and it's a really small complaint, is that the "China" sticker on the bottom is impossible to get off entirely. Whatever kind of supernatural adhesive they used to stick it on just won't come off. Even if you use your flask a lot, wash it, clean it, it'll keep for a very long while. Since it's stainless steel, I'll assume that's why there's no leftover odor of alcohol. Buy a Funnel for Flask Filling - Stainless Steel with Polished Finish with it, the lips are very small and it's really difficult to just pour things in from a bottle opening

It clearly says a package of 5 yet we only received 1. If they are only going to send one it should state that. I have received no response from the seller.

4.0 out of 5 stars Everything worked out great, February 7, 2011

The delivery came within the time period that they promised. The flasks were all in good shape too. I split them with some friends, and for about $3 a person you cant get a better flask. I even saw the same quality at Urban Outfitters for about $10 a flask. So for the price, the quality is great, and it gets the job done. If someone wants a higher quality flask for a gift then maybe this isn't for you, but for a simple flask that works well, this is perfect.

4.0 out of 5 stars Held up to 10 guys at a Vegas bachelor party, February 6, 2011

This review is from: 6 oz. Stainless Steel Hip Flask (Pkg. of 5)
I bought these for myself and 9 of my best friends prior to my bachelor party in Vegas - just to keep the drinking going nonstop at very reasonable prices. Most mature decision ever? No. Good decision? Absolutely. We made it through 3 nights and 4 days without a flask casualty, with no spilling, and no messes. Everyone still has them to this day, and a couple guys still use them. Compared to other prices I've seen - these are a steal, and held up very well. I'm extremely pleased with the purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Party like a PRO, July 27, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 6 oz. Stainless Steel Hip Flask (Pkg. of 5)
Nobody wants to show up to the event and discover that the room is dry as a bone. You shouldn't leave these things to chance: don't be surprised and don't come unprepared.

But one thing you can count on: your friends are mooches. So bringing just enough for yourself isn't good enough, because your meager supply won't last very long once you share with your deadbeat buddies.

That's where this commando pack of flasks comes in. You'll be the hero when you show up to your spouse's office party will a variety pack of every poison a guy could ask for. With five flasks, you can even load one with the foofy flavored stuff your wife likes to drink.

But if you're going to party like a pro, you have to equip yourself like a pro. Add a set of these (Norpro Stainless Steel 3-Piece Funnel Set) to your cart before you checkout and put your spillage worries behind you.

Now for the cigars...
