I am an Asian, Ive used chopsticks all my life. Ive never encountered a pair of chopsticks with sandpaper tips. Thats what these chopsticks have, a 2 inch rough sandy tip. I guess they did it to make it easier to grip food, but its gross because the sandy tip actually chips off as you eat with it. Normal chopsticks are smooth throughout, but this one is not!! I think the other reviewers dont know much about chopsticks and think that that sandpaper tip is normal but it is most definitely not! and definitely NOT HEALTHY to be eating pieces of the chopstick along with your food.

When I read another review describing the chopsticks as sandpaper tipped, I thought that (s)he must be exaggerating. (S)he was not...

These are QUITE bad! I suppose if you enjoy crooked, sand papered chopsticks, then these will suit you perfectly. Otherwise, avoid these like the plague!

They look very nice, i'll give them that.

There is no excuse though for the odd smell coming off of them. Even after washing them and simply trying to get used to it, the scent of something like acetone is just galling. The tips of them also have a weird sandpaper-y texture. Overall these things aren't worth it unless you never plan to eat with them.

Received on time, these were the best bargain online. High quality chopsticks with textured tips for easier food gripping. Authentic designs, these were better than what we were expecting.

They're super pretty and we use them all the time! They were inexpensive but didn't feel as cheap as I thought they would. Definitely recommend this.

Don't buy these if you actually plan on eating with them, they use spraypaint to color them. The smell of paint was overwhelming when I took them out of the package. Waste of money.

I just received these chopsticks in the mail today and I love them - they're beautiful! On the spur-of-the-moment, I ordered them to tackle one of the points on my Bucket List (to become proficient with chopsticks). There are five pairs of sticks, with five different "scenes" at the top of each set. One has delicate lavender flowers; another has a mountain top scene, with a gold sky and a white crane. Another has a simple gold moon with green grass, the forth has simple red flowers and the last set is the simplest - a gold and white fish. They all have "texture" at the bottom that I wasn't expecting. I've only owned one set of chopsticks before, though, so I'm hoping it will give me a little added traction. ;) The *only* reason I rated this item with four stars instead of five is because I just bought them. But overall, I am very happy and once I'm fantastic with chopsticks, I wouldn't be opposed to buying more of these, or buying from this seller again.

These were the perfect fit for us. After recieving them they were used the next day. Made eating Sushi perfect.

Good Quality chopsticks. Feel nice in your hands and the designs are clear, high quality looking, and appear very durable. good deal for the price.

The chopsticks were just fine. They look exactly like they do on the website. Quality is fine. However, this was the worst shipping hassle I've ever had. It took over 3 weeks to get these, despite paying for 2 day delivery. I strongly recommend NOT using this seller.
