He holds a B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College, and both a Th.M. and Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary. Pentecost does a fine job of summarizing and anlayzing the meaning of the parables in a consistently clear manner. Penetecost is solidly conservative and evangelical. The analysis is brief but to the point. The interpretations are solid and dependable.

For interpretation, this book deserves a 5 star rating. It is, however, a bit dry, which is why I rate it as a 4 rather than 5 star.

This is truly a very important book on the parables of Jesus. It is written in a way anyone can understand the message. It brings to life what the parables mean, I recommend this book written by a great Christian author.
