Product Description

Product Description
Router Aqua
The Shortest Distance Between Two Points...

Router Aqua is a brain game that requires connecting matching color dots in the shortest possible distance while avoiding overlaps. Explore multiple routes through seven chapters, each more complex than the last.

Router Aqua
Spend Star Points to illuminate the right path
... Isn't Always a Straight Line

Chapter One introduces you to the basic gameplay and is well-suited for players of all ages. Chapter Two requires a bit of intellectual dexterity. For Chapter Three, you need to earn at least 130 points from the previous chapters to continue the game. Finish each stage with a perfect score to earn a Star Point. When you earn five or more Star Points, use them to get hints on more difficult levels.

Keep in mind that you need to plan ahead before you connect the first line, or the rest of the lines will tangle--and won't connect. Each stage (or level) offers up to five stars, earning you a Star Point for a perfect score. Capture the Star Point by joining all dots in the stage using the shortest possible lines.

Part circuit board, part connect-the-dots, Router Aqua's simple yet beautifully designed, glowing graphics pull you from level to level as you work through incrementally challenging puzzle boards. Every chapter contains lots of levels, and as you master the game, you may find yourself wandering back along familiar paths to replay, working toward even better scores and making your mark on the global leaderboard.

PLEASE NOTE: This app lets you purchase digital content using actual money. You can configure parental controls for in-app purchases, which will require your Amazon account password or a 4-digit PIN, by going to the Settings menu from within the Amazon Appstore.

I was excited to see this game offered today. I played (and completed) the previous version (simply named: Router). I played it a lot while waiting in the lines at Disney World of all places. I really enjoyed this game (if you like logic games, you will too). The puzzles range from very very simple to frustrating (it's a good thing it has hints--they are really needed sometimes). Of course, this is based on my experience with Router--though playing through the first Chapter of Router Aqua, the gameplay seems exactly the same so far.

As you play the game, you earn hints to help you solve the harder puzzles (if needed). For every puzzle you complete perfectly (i.e. with 5 stars) you earn a hint star point. You burn 5 star points for each hint you use.

Just like with the previous version, the In-App Purchase is only for buying more hint star points, if you run out. There is no content you would ever have to buy to complete and win this game. Again, it's only for recharging your hint star points. I had about 75 star points leftover when I finished playing (Router), so the in-app purchase was never an issue for me.

The screen graphics are simple, but clear and bright. The music is non-irritating. The controls are very easy to use--touch a circle and drag--that's it. The lines are drawn smoothly with absolutely no lag on my device.

The only improvement to this app I can think of would be the ability to move it to the SD card. But with an app size of 3.77MB, it's not a big deal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the Router Games May 4, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
I loved the original Router so much I went and bought this one. I've played both all the way through and then went back and tried to get 5 stars on levels where I hadn't. There are a lot more levels - all you have to do is go to the little arrow on the bottom right of the screen when you have enough points to move on. The only thing I don't like is that you can't undo an individual route between two dots unless you undo everything you did after it. It would be nice to just be able to delete a single route.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun game with no in app purchase required to play June 21, 2012
I enjoyed the original router game and this one is very similar. Starts out very easy and ramps it up slowly but surely. It is entirely possible to play through every level of this game and never buy a single thing. If you're able to get the perfect score (which is very easy on lower levels) you get more star points which you can use for more hints on harder levels. The only time anyone would need to pay is if they have used up all their hints and need more because they cannot figure a level out.

I'm opposed to games that make you pay for the game and then pay for an enjoyable gaming experience, but the in app purchase for this game isn't needed to get full enjoyment out of the game. Ignore the 1 star reviews and give the game a try while it's free.

This is the same as Flow Free. Flow Free has a lot more color to it. I chose that over this one because, well, I don't need two of them.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cute
Kinda fun. Great logic game for kids. Nice animations. Hasn't been glitchy or anything. I gave it 2 stars because it wasn't as entertaining as I think it could have been.
