a concise open-ended work without the usually dry-linear overly technical(their combatives manuals are a joke!) approach so prevalent in most army field and tech manuals.written in a language any armchair commando could understand,the writer exhorts the reader to use his own creativity(which is key in unorthodox warfare, just look at the terrorist in iraq!)in forming his own plans.The author unveils a plethora of his own ideas and he looks at historical groups as well.though written 20yrs.ago the work (because of it's open-The partisan fighter's manualendedness!)is just as viable today as it was then.
