stock comes to a rolling boil on low. not sure what the auto function is, but that left me with half my liquid gone in a few hours.

UPDATE:
This crock is now 6 months old. The handle has fallen off & the bottom (which has never had liquid in it) is beginning to rust. What a piece of garbage this product is. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE #2:
I spoke with Sunpentown today. Their representative, James, Said that rust on the inner chamber is normal & not covered by warrantee. The broken handle is also not covered & I "should super-glue it". To say dealing with these people is frustrating is an understatement. To get the ridiculous answers that I did from them required 2 toll calls cross country (NY to LA) & at least an hour total on the phone. My second conversation left me on hold for 15 minutes & then they hung up. Yes, one moment sitting on hold, next moment silence followed by fast busy.
AVOID THIS PRODUCT! THEY DO NOT HONoRO THEIR WARRANTEE & THE PRODUCT IS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first crockpot, purchased less than a year ago from another store. I chose it because I wanted something natural and 100% lead-free.

I've used it maybe 4-5 times, and just noticed that the crock has developed a small crack on the inside (i.e. where the food goes). I've been careful with my crockpot, hand washed it each time I used it, and not exposed it to any sudden temperature changes. So, this is quite disappointing.

I loved it when I got it, but am incredibly disappointed that it didn't last longer.

When I received the Zisha Slow Cooker, my first thought was that I had stepped right back into the 70's as this pot is bright orange and has little veggie pictures on it! But the real reason that I purchased the Zisha was for the wonderful clay pot insert which takes the flavors of slow cooking one step further!!! Clay pots are my favorite method of cooking and this slow cooker is no exception! The clay insert is also guaranteed to be lead-free and I had often wondered about my 20+ year old cooker. Being new, Zisha cooks more on hot side so I start dishes on high or auto and switch to low if I'm home. Otherwise, I throw everything in early and let it cook on low for 8-10 hours! Could not be happier!

We normally don't buy anything from China because of the poor quality and short life. After much searching we found there are no slow cookers made in the US any more, or any from Europe sold in the US. After reading many reviews we found this one and tried it. Have now been using it for 18 months and are very pleased with it.

Was looking for a lead-free crockpot and emailed this company to find out details about this product. They responded saying it was 100% zisha clay. I've been happy with my purchase so far.

I got this to replace a crock pot that broke in a move. While looking for a replacement I learned about the lead in crock pot issue, and opted to try this. I have used it 5 times now and it works just as good as any I have ever had. I am happy with it.

I've owned this for 2 years. I bought it because it was lead free. I was fairly happy with it, I didn't love that it cooked on the hotter side. Like someone mentions it does cause items to boil on low. Two weeks ago I was making chicken broth on low the laminate on my counter top peeled up, where it was sitting. Decided to try again with beef broth put a cutting board under to get it off the counter it cracked my wooden cutting board down the middle. I will not be able to use it anymore as that is a hazard. I am going to contact the company.
