How can you tell if the person from whom you're buying Windows 7 is selling valid activation codes? Hi,

I bought a copy of Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate for what seemed to be a valid price of $180 from CyberPCStore.com, but the activation key turned out to be no good. I didn't install it right away (waiting over a year) and so they won't support me.

My question is how can you tell if the person selling valid activation codes? I thought it was price, but I paid about the price listed here and Microsoft is blocking the code / key.

This happened to me, I contacted Microsoft piracy center and I provided them with the buying info. After sending the info they sent me a complimentary copy of Windows 7 Ultimate.
