philosophy - old-fashioned lemonade - shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath

It smells SO strongly of lemons/lemonade that unless you adore lemons (which I do) i would not reccomend it. I bought this along with "philosophy shear splendor daily conditioner". Putting the conditioner on after masked the lemon smell and since I used both I'm not sure which left my hair so incredibly soft and smooth. If you're a lemon nut I highly recommend, I couldn't stop smelling the bottle after I opened it up ^_^

If you've ever had one of those pre-packaged Italian Ices you'll recognize the smell. Know how when you flip it over there's a layer of concentrated sugar ice with a stronger flavor on the bottom? Just like that.

Also, this is worth noting. Philosophy ships super fast (they estimate about a week and a half, I got two packages in 2 days) and includes samples of other products which I thought was sweet. For this order I received a sample of:

Raspberry Sorbet shampoo,conditioner,body wash (smells heavenly)
Strawberry Milkshake shampoo, conditioner, body wash (haven't opened it yet)
When Hope Is Not Enough with spf 20 (wearing it now, skin feels smooth, not oily at all)

I was actually thinking of buying When Hope Is Not Enough and right now it looks like I will. While the prices are a tad on the expensive side, in the past two years I have found that it's worth it. Philosophy has yet to fail my expectations. I'm only 24 and they've got a customer for life ^^

I also did not find this to be strongly scented and having read the previous reviews, was a little disappointed with the product. It does smell good, but not as strongly as I had hoped, and cleans very well. I find it a little drying, however, and had I known, would have purchased a different product. They do include samples of some of their other products and having used those, found the shampoo, conditioner, body wash combo to be better for my skin and hair. Will I purchase a philosophy product for myself again? Maybe. Will I be happy to recieve it as a gift? Absolutely.

I really like this product. I would not, however, agree with the person who said that it is entirely too strong a scent. I would actually like it to be stronger, and have less peel and more juice smell. But it is a nice scent, and cleans very thoroughly. Not the best I've used, but very nice.

I purched two of the lemon shampoo. My wife tried it and I never got it back.. I was fortunate to have ordered two or i would have gone shampooless (WOMEN!!!).
Most excellent product. and it smells good also. order two or you to will loose yours..

I LOVE the smell of this Philosophy body wash! It's a great pick-me-up in the mornings! However, the smell doesn't last after the shower, and I think it's more expensive than what it's worth. I couldn't even use the last part of the liquid because the thick plastic of the bottle wouldn't let me squeeze it out. I ended up just tossing it out with at least 1/4 of liquid left inside.

Smells great and it is wonderful especially the fact that it is three products in one.

This product is good, but if you are looking for a REAL lemon scent, seach for something else.
