Love my nixplay frame. I think the best thing at Nixplay is the support, it is the best I ever encounter. 2 days after I bought the frame I was really to return it until I called for support. An assistant named Shae (I apologize if I misspelled her name) spent the longest time guiding me through the process of downloading my pictures into the the frame. She was patient, kind and very clear with her explanations. The frame is great, bright colors, easy to use, now that I know how, the motion sensor is a good feature. I'm very happy my Nixplay thanks to Shae. -

I am very picky when it comes to technology and I can't find anything wrong with the nixplay cloud frame. The setup was super easy, plug it in, turn it on, select wifi router and login. Once on the network, it downloaded a quick update. We logged onto their website, created an account, added the serial number of the frame and uploaded pictures. Before we knew it they were displaying on the frame.
We then packed the frame back up and shipped it to my parents. My dad had no issues getting it on his network... and now we can share pictures of their grandson with them... from anywhere in the world. They love getting surprised each time we add a photo.
Wish we would have gotten this sooner! -

This review is based on using the FileHub RP-WD02 mostly for accessing files on external storage. I tested some other features that I might use. I have not tried all its features, just those described in my review. For example, I did not (yet) try using it to charge a cell phone or tablet, etc. I did not try using a browser-based application to access it (supposedly can do this, such as with a laptop), only the free Apple & Kindle apps. Seems very good so far.
This seems very well made & substantial, not cheap & flimsy (like a similar Kingston product I tried--MobileLite, which didn't even work--wouldn't read my USB). This is about 3" x 2.75" x .75" in size. Not tiny, but fits in the palm of my hand. Heavier than some similar devices, but that's a good thing. You open it and immediately think, ... full review -

I purchased 2 of these cards, and each one has outperformed what I thought was a better brand (not mentioning any names, but it rhymes with fandisk lol)
Though all cards are rated at Class 10, UHS-1, their performance is wildly different. This card I can consistently read dead on 72MB/s. With the sandisk, it's very inconsistent and around 40MB/s. Write speeds are way more important than read speeds though, as you all know. I had a real problem with my T3i sporratically prematurely stopping recording. It didn't do it all the time, so that made the issue more irritating and difficult to troubleshoot.
I then ran a series of tests, which confirmed with the sandisk, I was getting anywhere from 11-14MB/s write speed. extremely inconsistent. Each sample I got of this card pegs just over 20MB/s write speed, every time. Almost NO variation.

Received the frame today. Synced with WIFI - no problem. Easily activated and established my frame's email address to receive photos. Uploaded 300 photos from Picasa to the Nixplay cloud account and Voila! my frame was populated. We are using this in the reception area of our dental office to show off our "No Cavity Club" kids. They love seeing their photos. I was very excited to find this frame. I can edit the photos to be added and then email them to the frame. Our previous frame had a data storage card that had to be updated - which was a pain and time-consuming. This is going to be so easy!! -

Benchmarks are below. Copying large 1+GB files from the laptop (Z580) through the built-in SD card reader copies at a rate of about 1GB per minute. 3-4x faster than my Class 4 Kingston MicroSD card on the same, so definitely noticable speed increase.
Just got it, so no issues encountered yet. Will report back if there are any.
