Do I need to buy an SD card to get the pictures on the photo frame? Or can you just load them onto the device using a USB? Thanks

The frame holds a limited number of pictures. I would suggest that the purchase of a storage card is advisable.

I use a flash drive which I can insert into the display. I think you can use a mini USB cable. But storage of the images is more easy with the flash drive. Best to you.
