[A kind warning]
1. The seller sent 12 pieces but 4 of them were duplicate: That is, only 8 pieces were different kids. I seldom expected this level of seller's quality. The only reason I did not return this product is my son already opened the plastic bags.
2. 4-5 pieces cannot stand, and keep falling.
3. Not entirely sure if the dye is not hazardous, considering there is no such statement or evidence from the manufacturer.

[Pros]
Although these products are not top-notched, well-finished ones, still these are colorful, have some details, and handful / playful. Little chocking hazard.

[Work-around]
If you decide to buy this but find some pieces are not standing, there is a work-around. Put a piece into a BOILING water for 15-20 seconds, pull it out, and adjust legs with force. You should use protective gloves to avoid burning.

I bought this set of dinosaurs for a 2 1/2 year old grandson who swings between a spiderman obsession and a dinosaur obsession. He absolutely loves playing with these. I agree with another review in that individually wrapping each dinosaur is a complete waste of plastic and people's time. I bought the Crocodile Creek's Dinosaur Lunchbox (also available on Amazon.com) for him to keep the dinosaurs in and they fit in perfectly and it's a great wee carry bag so he can pack them up and take them somewhere else, unpack them, pack them up again etc etc... (Great fun). I feel these are a great buy for the price and wouldn't hesitate to buy again but do wish they weren't packaged in such a wasteful way.

I bought this toy for my nearly-three-year old daughter and she loved it. The figurines are quite detailed and of a good quality (not as solid as some more expensive toys, but very decent for the price). The seams where two halves of each dinosaur are attached are visible on nearly all of them, but it does not seem to bother the main user:-). My only complaint is that they come without name tags, so my daughter and I had to spend a significant amount of time online figuring out who is who, and for some raptors I was not able to find a close match. I also agree with a previous review that individual plastic wrapping does nothing but create unnecessary waste.

Before you buy this toy, please know that all the dinosaurs are made of PVC, and are from the Oriental Trading Company. The odor when you open the individual baggies that each dino is wrapped in, is absolutely overpowering. Then I noticed that the label said 100% PVC. Just based on the horrible odor I googled PVC and children's toys. These were going to be for a 2 year old, and after I read up on PVC I have decided to toss them in the trash. The seller should put in large writing that these toys are 100% PVC so that parents can make an educated decision about buying them. I had already tossed the box and labels because the toys looked so adorable when they arrived that I couldn't imagine returning them. They are COOL, a very broad array of dino types, very colorful, and the perfect size for little hands.

When I went to open each bag I grew more and more alarmed by the overpowering stench of them. Unfortunately, these guys are going in the garbage. I think they are a health hazard and I would never allow my son to handle them.

The set we received included twelve dinosaurs but three of them are copies of other included dinosaurs. We did not get a dimetrodon, an ankylosaur, or a plesiosaur, as shown in the picture. Also all of the bipedal dinosaurs have trouble standing up. I ordered this set based upon the other "great" reviews but to be honest the quality is only so-so. I'm not impressed.

I purchased this set of 12 dinosaurs for my 3 year old son - he is a huge dinosaur lover. He loves them... they are appropriate for his size, not too big for him to handle. The cost was very reasonable. Each is packed individually, although I don't know why this really matters and it is a huge waste of plastic bags. My only complaint is that one of the figures doesn't seem to stand properly so will often topple over if unsupported. Otherwise, this toy is a big hit!

Okay - let me just say I'm 37 and, yes, I got these for myself. I just like dinosaurs, always have. I needed a little "flare" for my office cubicle, so thought I'd give these a try. They looked pretty cool in the product photo. But when they arrived, the coloring was bad (unrealistic - as if I'd know how a real dinosaur was colored...but I'm pretty sure it isn't metallic turquoise). If so, then the metallic-looking ones were probably the first to go extinct. You can't really "hide" anywhere when you look like that. Plus, half the dinosaurs in the package had twisted limbs, so that they couldn't be placed upright when I played with them in the bathtub (just kidding). Also, the lot of them looked too "cartoonish." Very poor quality workmanship, overall. That being said, I doubt a five-year-old would be as critical. I should probably stop buying myself toys.

I ordered two of these sets, one day apart. I planned on using one set for goody bags for my son's birthday party and the other as a gift for him. The first set was great! Good price, larger size dinosaurs, realistic looking and a good variety. The second set, oddly, was completely different. The dinos were a tad bit smaller, less detail and brighter colors, like bright orange, that made them look less realistic. I even checked to make sure I ordered the same set and I did.

I purchase this toys for my two sons a 4 year old and 3 year old
they love the dinosaurs toys,good quality and great price.

My grandchildren love playing with the dinosaurs and try to learn their names. Not bad for three year olds.
