Doesn't work sometimes,

I am having a few problems with this AC/DC adapter. First of all it isn't the same exact model as Samsung's adapter. Second, the cable is considerably shorter and the adapter is heavier. Finally and most importantly, sometimes this adapter didn't work well with 110 volts electrical outlets. It wouldn't charge my computer until I plugged it into a 220 volts outlet.
