5.0 out of 5 stars Great Customer Service and a Solid Pant, October 16, 2009

This review is from: prAna Men's Stretch Zion Pant (Apparel)
I wore my Prana Ranger pants into the ground until they were ripped and shredded because the fabric couldn't take any more washes. Though the Ranger is gone the people over at Prana suggested I try the Stretch Zion. I got the black pair and it's been bullet proof. Use if for my bike rides, around the house, to the gym...pretty much everything. with the button up legs it becomes quite versatile. I was at the Denver airport the other day and I noticed nearly everybody wears jeans nowadays. I'll wear jeans...for an evening on the town. Man, if you want utility with some style these will do the trick! I just wish they had more colors.

Great pants! The fabric is thinner than the earlier models of these pants and shorts but overall still a great fitting quality product as with most of Prana's stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Light, Comfortable, Warm, April 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I just spent two weeks backpacking in southern Patagonia. I bought these pants for the trip and it was one of the best outdoor purchases I have made. Besides these pants being extremely light and comfortable they have incredible wind resistance that I did not anticipate. After spending 10 days in a land where the wind blows so hard and often that trees and bushes grow in one direction I was very glad that prAna took the wind into account. Also the pant is cool when the weather turns hot and if it gets really hot you can roll up the bottoms and use the built in snaps to prevent them from rolling back down. The Stretch is no joke there is not restriction when walking, running, scrambling and crouching.

I where a 32X34 and med fits perfectly but there is a little cinch strap for the waist to make the waist a little more snug if such a fit is desirable. There are no belt loops sot take that into consideration.

All in all these pants have great climate control I will get another pair when these wear out and maybe sooner. I am can't wait to get these pants out on some technical climbs and see how they hold up but I have nothing but high expectations.
