I read this book some years ago and although interesting, I would not seriously use the designs in this book. the ultralight/homebuilt movement has progressed significantly since this books publication and there are now better designs and KITS! now available. I bought this book thinking that it would have blueprints or construction plans to actually build these aircraft. Instead, it was just a collection of stories about other people's aircraft with no plans on how they were built! Don't waste your money on this one!!!

A pretty nice read, generally informative. I found it entertaining and a worthwhile read, even if a bit dated.

I would recommend it to others also looking for general information on the subject.
