Good Book, Great Deal!!,

I've been a bluegrass banjo picker for over 30 years. I remeber when this book came out in the 80's it received very favorable reviews. In the past few years I took up old Time fiddle playing and my bluegrass guitarist friend took up Old Time (Clawhammer) banjo. As he progressed I bought this book as a Christmas present for him. After a couple of weeks he loves it. It includes a lot of tunes outside the old chestnuts, causing us both to stretch our musical wings. Here's the kicker.There is a 2nd complete book by another author appened to this book!! I mean how great is that!!(Check out the table of contents) Make sure you get the Archive edition to get both books. For an intermediate clawhammer picker who likes Irish/modal/and contra-dance tunes, this book is a steal.
