5.0 out of 5 stars good, like all the Encyclopedia Brown books, November 1, 2005

This review is from: Weekly Reader Books presents Encyclopedia Brown and the case of the midnight visitor (America's Sherlock Holmes in sneakers) (Hardcover)
For those unacquainted with Encyclopedia Brown books, each book consists of short stories in which the title hero solves a mystery. Each story gives all the clues. The reader is challenged to come to match that solution given in the back of the book.

The books are intended for kids, but I was unable to solve any of the mysteries.

In one of the mysteries, however, the author cheats: he withholds some of the clues for the answer at the back of the book.
