Product Description

Thank you for exploring primeVibe. It is the only Full Spectrum, Multiple Instrument, Seasoning Device! Your kit can season guitars, ukuleles, drums, etc. You can prime two violins at the same time! With primeVibe, music flows from the instrument! Music goes from your music source to the primeVibe amp, to the primeVibe speakers, to your instrument. Priming causes lignin (the chemical compound in wood) to relax improving the instrument's audible performance. Improvements have been reported after only 2 hours. For best results prime for four days. primeVibe was voted the Number One New Musical Instrument Accessory at 2011 NAMM. Play-in (prime) your instrument with musical sound (Vibe).

Pros: I've used this product on my solid body electric (59' Les Paul replica). Before my guitar was already resonate, full and balanced, it had that vintage character. After 3 days of using primevibe on it, I can't believe it would highlight the character of my guitar even more. It now has such a more woody tone to it, much more resonate and volume. Just the thing I'm looking for, a vintage sounding les paul. Long story short this thing WORKS!

Cons: The negative thing is that it is not so portable. You need to make some space for the primevibe and instrument to be flat on its back or slightly elevated on its back. The other thing is you need to supply a music source eg; ipod, mp3 player, etc. If you already have a dedicated music source for it (as you need it to play long hours continuously) then you are set to go. For me I just used my desktop pc, connect it to my primevibe and set it up on my guitar and let it be for 3 days (recommended 1st time treatment is 100 hours).

Summary: It won't turn your bad sounding instrument great, if it is already bad sounding then its your fault for getting a bad instrument. It cannot make a guitar to sound like a violin or other instruments. However "IT CAN IMPROVED THE INSTRUMENT NATURAL TONE" without having to wait years for it which really outweighs the cons.

primevibe was 1 of the greatest investments ive ever bought,i had a guitar that i bought for looks ,but it was tight sounding no sustain used primevibe for 2 weeks straight, playing music in different keys it put sound waves into the guitar and every 2days i changed songs , it sustained ,resonated ,rich and full sounding , loved it ,i learned about this concept from 2 places 1 eddie van halen would put his guitars in front of his speakers when he jammed that is a fact, and robert godin on youtube "how to educate your guitar by robert godin" he says put your guitar in front speakers, it works, but i have nieghbors didnt want blast music at my guitar ,so i got primevibe takes music puts it directly on the guitar with transducers ,and i move them all over the guitar . when i told my sound engineer about it, he was skeptical till i brought back a godin guitar that i used primevibe on , he was in the sound booth and thought i had a pedal on for delay or sustain, he came out of booth to check , he was very impressed. i love it ,,, check out my channel godbyone on youtube. and its better than any vibrating machine because it uses music to resonate sound waves into the guitar, before i record .i use primevibe ,i take a song thats in the key iam going to play and that song is on auto play so it plays over and over for a couple days soaking my guitar in soundwaves of that key
, my guitar responds so well when i play after that treatment. when i play my solid body elecrtic unplugged ,thats when i really noticed a difference pv did it has volume and its musical

Bottom of the line 110 Taylor sound much better, not just to my ears. And, Prime Vibe backs up their stuff. After 48 hours the power supply died. I emailed Prime - with in 48 minutes (no joke) they emailed me back for my address and shipped one out within a couple of days. No hassles. Plus a little schwag. Great company to deal with..

I compared this with a ToneRite.

This could not touch the results the ToneRite got.

You can't get enough oomph into the speakers to vibrate it enough to wake an instrument in a reasonable amount of time.

It might maintain one that is already awake. It's about as good as a ToneRite on lowest setting.

A ToneRite on HIGH will wake a dormant Violin in 2-3 days.

Very hard to keep in place on a Violin.

Was trying to use it on a $6000.00 Violin.
