First, I had a very difficult time finding this book in Spanish. I have a young, Spanish speaking friend who is expecting a baby. I was very happy to find it on Amazon. Second, the book arrived in a timely fashion and in excellent condition. Also, I hope that you will expand your Spanish CD collection. I would like to find more Spanish books (novels) on CD. Thank you, Amazon.

Así describo este título. Tiene, a mi manera de ver, todo lo que se necesita saber para el cuidado del bebé el primer año de vida.

es una de las mejores cosas q tengo, evito q llame desesperada muchas veces al doctor por pequenas y simples cosas q hacia el bebe.
Resuelve muchas dudas, excelente libro.
El indice es malo, se hace dificil encontrar cosas a veces

I was very disappointed to find out that this translation, which is considerably more expensive than the English version, did not have an index at the back of the book. Therefore, it is very difficult to find what you are looking for. The English version does have the index but the translators got too lazy and did not bother in including the index in the Spanish version.

Also, the translation is very poor, almost a word by word translation (I think a google translation would be almost the same). It is very sad that a book so famous does such a lousy translation. Very, very disappointing. Just to cite an example I can recall, diaper bag is translated literally as "bolsa de pañales", ignoring that there is a word for that in Spanish: "pañalera".

I do not recommend you buy this Spanish version of The Fist Year.

El libro es bueno, aunque la traducción es muy sencilla (Supongo que en parte porque muchos términos en Español varían dependiendo del país). A veces es un poco repetitivo conforme se pasa de mes a mes, pero al menos eso permite que alguién pueda aprovechar el libro sin tener que leerlo todo desde el principio.
El mejor valor agregado se obtiene leyendo el libro incluso desde antes que nace tu bebe, para aprovechar los consejos y tips. Sin embargo, todo bebe es único, y además se debe siempre dar prioridad a los pediatras y médicos.

El tiempo de entrega estaba muy bueno. El producto llego en buen estado y dentro del tiempo estipulado para la entrega. Buen trabajo de parte de amazon en este producto en español.

Libro recomendado que tiene todas las preguntas que uno se hace en cada etapa del crecimiento del nino.
Interesante libro, lo recomiendo.

Un libro muy bueno, que tiene mucha información útil. No me gustó que el índice es poco claro por lo que cuesta encontrar algunas preguntas puntuales.
