This set can be built as is shown on the box or as a made-up vehicle, straight from one`s imagin- ation. It also provides many, many hours of building fun. With the CRYSTAL DETECTOR alone,I have built about ten or eleven different versions of the CRYSTAL DETECTOR!Adults will also enjoy this set because of the quality that the LEGO company offers in all of the sets that are on the market. For all young minds that love to build, the CRYSTAL DETECTOR is an awesome set!

5.0 out of 5 stars fun for your phantasy, August 3, 1999

I don't owe the aquazone toys from Lego by myself, but my nephew does. He is collecting them and I really have fun giving him these toys as a present. More fun of course is helping him built his aquazone station. He has a real system of sorting the pieces before he starts putting them together. My job was to give him the little Lego pieces. Watching the station growing and thinking of how it will look like when it's done and thinking about stories which might take place in this scene, I really enjoyed it. Could you think that one day ....

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for both children and adults who loves fantasy., July 16, 1999

I have always loved lego since young and this toy is of no exception. This toy, like all other lego, can get into water and not spoil so you can actually fantasize an entire kingdom in your bath tub which makes playing fun and educational in the creativity aspect. However, please be careful of the small parts that can be swallowed easily by toddlers. This makes a perfect gift for all ages!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great toy all around!, July 19, 1999

Legos are one of the most fun and yet educational toys in existence today, in my opinion. This specific set is one of the more challenging to put together since it has many mechanical pieces. Still, kids will love to figure out how to put it together and will enjoy adding it to their collection. I'm sure they'll eventually tire of it and break it to make new things, but that's what makes legos so fun and so long lasting- the possibilities are endless!

I am a living lego maniac. I have about 7000 pieces in my room (believe me, I own 72 sets and 7,000 lego pieces) They're my favorite toys. It's very hard to put them down.
