5.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS NO TOY!!
This pedometer is made by Sportsline, a leading manufacturer of pedometers, digital stopwatches, and similar items. In no way can this be considered a toy. It is a precision instrument and should be treated as such.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sportline Pulse Pedometer 355
I have used my Sportline Pulse Pedometer 355 for four days and the [flimsy] plastice belt clip has already broken. The device itself is fine, but the belt clip is a piece of [junk]. Do not purchase this item!

This pedometer is made by Sportsline, a leading manufacturer of pedometers, digital stopwatches, and similar items. In no way can this be considered a toy. It is a precision instrument and should be treated as such.

The Polar Pulse Pedometer counts steps & miles, has both a countdown timer and stopwatch (as well as time-of-day) and a calorie counter. The large digital display is easily read from belt-level.

The pulse meter is easy to use and accurate (I tested it against a blood-pressure monitor). The finger sensor is conveniently located so it's easy to check your pulse without missing a stride. This unit is of great help in my cardiac rehab.

The large display and spring-type belt clip (on the model 355 I bought)are pluses. It is easy to read and accurate, if you don't walk/run with a long shirttail hanging over your belt. The BIG negative for me is I can't reset it to Zero without using a separate tool because the button is way too small and has to be pushed below the surface to operate.
