This puzzle was purchased at a resale store, so it was used, but my 2 1/2 year old son absolutely loves it. It was his introduction to jigsaw puzzles and he has since moved on to more difficult ones, but still comes back to play with this one. The durability is outstanding with the thick foam pieces, and has lots of colors to interest and also to help with beginners. I would highly recommend this to anyone, but especially to Thomas fans!!
