I got this program with dvd x copy platinum. It works great! It recovered many of my scratched discs that skipped terribly. I love it! However I did not buy it separatly. I did pay the big bucks and got it bundled with the platinum package. It also reads discs to check what kind of errors are on the disc. Soft errors or hard errors. I like that. I reccommend this program...

This worthless program never even came close to working. It ruined 4 or 5 discs real well, but then one day, it decided to completely erase my hard drive.

every document, every file.

I reccommend this program. However...I only can say I reccomend it with the platinum series. I can't say wether it works by itself. The company is no longer in business, but you can still get tech support and updates.
