And1 "Ballistix" basketball shoes are fantastic - They look like a masterpiece and have got a lot of advantages, moreover Ballistix shoes are so cheap. I'd like to recommend these beautiful shoes for all basketball players in the world !

Throughout my high school and college basketball career I never wore anything that wasn't made by Nike. One day at the mall I was going to buy a pair of the Jordan 19s and my girlfriend started to whine about the hefty price tag. Whining is the quickest way to get under my skin, so I decided no to get the Jordans (well, not while she was there...I eventually bought them when she wasn't around). When I asked her to pick out a decent shoe with a price tag that she wouldn't cry about, she showed me a pair of And 1 Ballistix Mids. I was skeptical for two reasons:

1) I don't do mids

and

2) When it comes to playing basketball, I'm not used to wearing anything that isn't made by Nike because they provide a level of ankle support and shock protection that I've become very reliant upon.

I went ahead and bought the And 1s and I can't say that I was disappointed in them. In fact, they held up better than I expected them to. They're pretty durable and with a price tag of only $60, they're a great value. I still rock Nikes, but now I give And 1 some rotation from time to time as well.

If I had any beefs with the shoe it would have to be the sizing. I'm a size 13 and I had to get these in 14 because their 13s wouldn't fit me correctly. And the lack of shock absorbence is a bit troublesome depending on what kind of socks you use. I found it to be a problem because I'm used to Nike Shox or some sort of air bubble to help with absorbing impact. Other than that, you should be fine when wearing a pair of Ballistix. I'd reccomend them to those that are looking for good quality with a low price tag.

My son loves his new And 1 shoes, the Ballistix mid in red, silver and white. He wears them everywhere. However, they squeak! All the time! When we are in a quiet place, he just wants to take them off. He hates the noise they make. I suppose it is because the uppers are made of some synthetic material, but the noise is annoying! DOes anyone else notice this? Is there a way to quiet them down? Will the noise go away when the shoes are broken in? My son now wants to throw them away....

These kicks don't have any shock protection. Every time I went to the basket or dunked the ball, I was scared of landing because my ankles would start killing me. I had to go to the car and change shoes. Buyer beware. The price is good, but the product isn't.

This shoe is comfortable, but it isn't all that it's cracked up to be. It rubs the backs of your heels a lot and causes blisters that will re-open and bleed. So unless you wear two pairs of socks or figure out something, you're screwed.
